TWO Teeth!

I can't believe it, Tabatha has TWO teeth! They're a little hard to see in the pictures, but trust me, they're there.

Meeting Grandma-Grandma

We drove up to Bakersfield the day before Easter so Grandma could meet Tabatha. This baby is so good - she slept the whole way up there and the whole way home the next day! -and she still slept well each night.

Catch of the Day!

Miles caught an 11 pounder on the kern river!

We drove up to Bakersfield on Saturday so my grandma could see Tabatha. We really didn't want to make the trip up and back in one day, so we drove over to Kernville for the night afterward so Miles could fish a little bit.

Deck Garden

I've almost finished planting our little deck garden. I was going to keep it simple this year, but as you can see, I think we have just about as many pots as we can fit out there. I did at least try to stick to small container/bush sized varieties this year instead of the full sized plants we had last year.

Right now we are eating baby boc-choy, spinach, several types of lettuce, and we will have peas soon. I planted tomatoes, eggplant, cucumbers, zucchinni, several types of basil, cilantro, sage, mint, oregano, thyme, chives, and borage (supposidly to help keep hornworms away).

Bath Time

Here's Tabatha hanging out in the bathtub/bathroom. She loves to take baths, but she is always so serious when she is in the tub. I guess she finds it soothing or relaxing. She just sits quitely, sometimes sucking on her hands or splashing with her feet. As soon as you get her out though, she is right back to "talking" and squirming.

Peas Please

We have two pots of snow peas growing on the deck right now. One pot was supposed to be beans, but whoops, it was mis-labeled. They've just started to bloom and the first few little peas are starting to grow.
